ARCHERFIELD NEWS 1/2/09
The first round of our first series for the 2009 season was an absolute gem of a meet. There were good numbers in most classes and it was especially encouraging to see nine new Junior Riders front up in the Novice division.
It was single points for yesterday’s meeting and full results will be posted today.
Don’t forget - Next meeting has been brought forward to Saturday 14th instead of Sunday 15th. We will start at 3.00pm and run into the night under lights.
The newly implemented 8.00am to 9.00am practice session worked well. All riders were given two practice sessions but more importantly, we were able to start the events on time. We had a total of sixty races to get through yesterday and we still managed to finish at 4.30pm. A great effort by all concerned.
See everyone in a couple of weeks for the first of our night races.
